MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)

The minimum order quantity is the smallest quantity a supplier is willing to sell in one order.

Where it appears in procurement

MOQ affects unit price, cash flow and whether a supplier is viable for a requirement at all. It belongs in the RFQ so quotations are comparable.

Example

A supplier quotes EUR 0.28 per unit with an MOQ of 20,000 when the buyer needs 10,000.

In Complyra

Requirement quantity is part of Complyra's parsed intent and the RFQ, so suppliers quote against the actual quantity.
