Supplier ranking
Supplier ranking orders matched suppliers by how well they meet the whole requirement, using several weighted factors.
Where it appears in procurement
Ranking on price alone rewards suppliers that omit compliance evidence. A multi-factor ranking makes the trade-offs explicit.
Example
Two suppliers match; one is cheaper but fails the compliance check and has a longer lead time, so it ranks lower.
