Free RFQ template generator

Fill in what you need to buy and the generator writes a structured request for quotation your suppliers can answer consistently. Select the regulations that apply and the documents each requires are added to the compliance section from Complyra's dataset.

Build your RFQ

What a good RFQ contains

  • Specification, not a name

Materials, dimensions, standards and packaging, so quotations describe the same thing.

  • Named compliance evidence

The regulations that apply and the documents to attach, rather than a request to "be compliant".

  • A delivery basis

Location, required date and Incoterm, so unit prices are comparable.

  • Structured response fields

Unit price, total, shipping, lead time, MOQ and validity, requested from every supplier.

Use cases

  • A first RFQ to a new supplier for a regulated product.
  • A standard template for a category your team buys repeatedly.
  • A quick way to see which documents a regulation expects before you write to suppliers.

Frequently asked questions

What does the generator produce?

A plain-text RFQ with eight sections: product and specification, quantity, quality, compliance, delivery, commercial terms, supplier requirements and response instructions. Copy it into an email or document.

Where do the compliance document lists come from?

From Complyra's regulation dataset. When you select a regulation, the documents it requires are inserted into the compliance section.

Is this the same as Complyra's RFQ generation?

No. Inside Complyra the RFQ is generated from a parsed requirement and a compliance check, sent to verified suppliers, and answered with structured quotations. This tool builds the template only, in your browser.

Do you store what I enter?

No. The template is built in your browser. A count of tool uses is recorded for site analytics without the content or any personal data.
