Supplier risk

Supplier risk is the likelihood and impact of a supplier failing to deliver compliant goods on time: financial, operational, compliance, geographic and concentration risk.

Where it appears in procurement

Compliance risk is the part a buyer can reduce most directly, by requiring evidence before the order rather than trusting it will be available later.

Example

Relying on a single supplier whose only certificate expired last month combines concentration risk with compliance risk.

In Complyra

Complyra reduces compliance risk by checking products against applicable regulations, tracking certificate expiry and requesting evidence in the RFQ. It does not provide financial risk ratings.
