Glossary
Supplier compliance
Supplier compliance is a supplier's ability to evidence that its products and operations meet the regulations and standards a buyer requires.
Where it appears in procurement
It is different from product compliance: a product may be compliant while the supplier cannot prove it. Buyers need the evidence, not the assurance.
Example
A supplier of LED lamps for the EU must be able to provide a RoHS declaration of conformity and test reports for restricted substances.
In Complyra
Complyra checks a product against applicable regulations, writes the required documents into the RFQ, and holds supplier certifications reviewed by an administrator with expiry tracking.
